All boards and chess sets will be provided by the tournament organizers. However, it is advised that your child bring his/her own chess clock if they own one.
Monroi and Plycount devices will be allowed and will NOT have to be checked in. Anyone using eNotate (on a Dell or Windows Mobile) WILL have to check-in with Tom Langland even though it is also USCF approved. He may not approve the use of the device to some players. Anything (clock or notation software) that runs on a phone will definitely NOT be allowed.
The Simul will be held at the BAC Chess Center in San Jose (2050 Concourse Drive #42, San Jose, CA 95131) Friday evening.
The Blitz Tournament and Puzzle Competition will be held at the event center Saturday evening.
